Points of View: Reading Recommendations

Posted on 04/19/10 in Blog, 1 Comment

This Web site is about connecting Gen Y with employers (and vice versa), but I think my generation can’t underestimate how much we can learn about networking from listening to each other. I am grateful there are so many stellar Gen Y bloggers who have guided me in the midst of my job search. Here’s some related reading from Gen Y bloggers I caught up on this weekend and recommend:

The Future of Recruiting is Social, and it’s Happening Now

How to get what you want

What’s Your 10 Year Vision?

Two Twommandments of Using Twitter in Your Job Search

Of course, it is also important to get feedback from different generations, so here are few posts I caught up on this weekend you might find of interest from writers of all generations:

Build a Stronger Network

Questions to ask when networking

Three Things I Learned About the Job Search from Home Improvement

20 Ways to Build Trust and Leads in Social Media

What did you read this weekend that you would recommend to Gen Y job candidates?
