I’m constantly asked “so what is the big deal about Twitter?” The power of this network is undeniable. It is changing the face of how businesses relate to their customers. It is also changing the way we get our news. For example, I can generally learn about breaking news much faster from The Washington Post and CNN’s Twitter account than I do by watching the news or checking their website. More than that, its giving us real-time information about global events before the media outlets, such as the Iran protests in 2009.
